About Hello Shabu
Hello Shabu is a welcoming shabu shabu restaurant that brings people together over a shared dining experience built around freshness, variety, and personal choice. It is designed for guests who enjoy meals that are interactive, satisfying, and social, while still allowing each person to tailor their own bowl or pot to match their taste. The restaurant stands out as a place where diners can slow down, gather around the table, and enjoy the simple pleasure of cooking ingredients in a flavorful broth right at the moment they want to eat them.
The concept centers on the classic appeal of shabu shabu, a style of dining that combines high-quality ingredients with a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a meal that feels both comforting and customizable, with options that make it easy to create something light, hearty, or somewhere in between. This flexibility makes the restaurant appealing to a wide range of diners, including families, college students, groups of friends, solo guests, and anyone looking for a meal that can be adapted to different preferences. The setting also fits well for people who appreciate casual dining with a modern edge.
Hello Shabu offers an experience that is as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food. The restaurant is suited to leisurely meals, with most visitors spending about an hour and a half enjoying their time there. That pace reflects a dining style that encourages conversation, shared moments, and a comfortable rhythm rather than a rushed visit. It is the kind of place where lunch can feel refreshing and dinner can feel like a small occasion, whether the visit is planned in advance or made spontaneously for a satisfying meal.
One of the strengths of the business is its broad appeal. As a restaurant that blends Asian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, buffet, seafood, and family-friendly influences, it has a wide culinary identity that can attract different kinds of guests for different reasons. People looking for healthier choices may appreciate the balance of vegetables and broth-based cooking, while others may enjoy the comfort-focused side of the menu. The presence of vegan and vegetarian choices also makes the restaurant accessible to more diners, showing attention to diverse dietary needs without losing the core appeal of the experience.
The restaurant is also built for convenience and inclusion. Guests can dine in, take out, or have food delivered, depending on what best fits their day. Fast service helps make it practical for busy schedules, while table service and reservations support a smoother experience for planned visits. Accessibility is another important part of the business identity, with features that help welcome guests who use wheelchairs and those who value thoughtful facilities. These details reflect a restaurant that is not only focused on food, but also on making the entire visit comfortable and easy for more people.
Hello Shabu has the feel of a place that balances energy and comfort. It is casual without feeling plain, trendy without feeling exclusive, and social without losing a sense of ease. The overall impression is of a restaurant that understands how to create a dining experience people want to return to, whether they are celebrating, meeting friends, bringing family, or simply looking for a dependable place to enjoy a flavorful meal. With its strong reputation and clearly defined style, Hello Shabu presents itself as a dining destination centered on freshness, flexibility, and a welcoming atmosphere that suits many occasions.

There was no pork, the chicken slices were extremely thin, and you could only order three plates at a time, plus you had to wait for a server to come and order more. The food was delivered by a robot, and the broth was flavored with powder instead of being simmered together. The self-service food at the counter was decent, but I paid for a pot of clear broth, and the other flavors were all artificial flavorings. The sauces and broth were incredibly sloppy.

Good food and good staff and good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and so helpful for anything we needed. We burned the bottom of our pot and the staff was very helpful in coming by to help and replace it out with fresh pot and explain why that happened and what we can do to avoid that. I was expecting the traditional Korean BBQ experience, but this is a bit different. This is mainly for βsoupβ like dishes than the grilling experience. Not that it was bad but just different than the traditional experience. I was hoping to do a reservation but it seems those are strictly for parties of 5 and up, but coming on a Saturday at 5 and I was surprised there were tons of seating still available, so thankfully it wasnβt absolutely necessary. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely a place weβll come back to.

We used to really enjoy this place but now the pricing is getting ridiculous. For me, my husband and our 3 kids it comes out to over $200 because if this mandatory 13% gratuity they tack on. Bad enough at first they were charging my 10 year olds as adults because theyβre tall, now they tacked on the 13% gratuity for a place where we LITERALLY get our own food and our own drinks. Itβs truly not worth the money. Sorry hello shabu but youβve lost us as customers now.

This place was pretty neat never had a make your own broth place it was nice they have all you can think of for your soup. Lots of noodles, veggies, and all you can eat fresh meats! They have plenty of sauces to choose from or you can make your own. The meat and veggies were delicious, but I have to say the crab want all that great, and the mussels had bits of im assuming was sand. They should wash those out better!. Also they have this little robot that brings you your fresh meat its was very kind. Drinks were self served and free refills they even had a soft served ice cream machine. Everything is all you can eat so bring a empty stomach.
